the reVoLuTion system
The reVoLuTion system from WMG S.r.l. is a cutting-edge Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) gaming platform, certified and fully compliant with Italian legislation, and regulated by the Ministry of Economy and the Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM).
WMG S.r.l. was the first and only Italian company to obtain this important certification through the rigorous tests of the SOGEI laboratories.
Core Features
WMG’s VLT system was designed to offer an engaging gaming experience and high reliability. It complies with Article 110, paragraph 6 B) of the T.U.L.P.S. and uses proprietary software and high-end hardware components. Connectivity is guaranteed by the main Italian communication providers, supporting MPLS or VPN networks and allowing the connection of numerous terminals from different rooms to a single central point.
- Architecture and Operational Continuity
The reVoLuTion system is based on six main logical components, all interconnected and scalable to adapt to different needs. To ensure maximum uptime and guarantee service continuity, the system is fully redundant. It features:
Primary Site: Optimized for high performance, high availability, and maximum reliability. The infrastructure is scalable and can support up to 2,000 terminals, with a backup system for long-term data storage.
- Secondary Site: Serves as a disaster recovery system to ensure operational continuity in the event of unrecoverable failures at the primary site. The switchover to this site is fast, guaranteeing the restoration of services in just a few minutes.
The system allows multiple terminals from different rooms to connect to a single centralized HUB. The system is implemented with WMG software and uses high-end hardware components, with reliable communication from major Italian providers.
Communication between the modules of the Revolution system occurs via proprietary EGP/ESP protocols with a high level of security. They use AES-encrypted PKU (RSA 1024) keys at the application level.
The Random Number Generator (RNG) module is certified by the GLI body in compliance with legal standards and requirements. All WMG systems comply with the regulations of Article 10, paragraph 6B of the TULPS (VLT).
